Plymouth Argyle have been drawn away to Bideford in the Devon St Luke's Challenge Cup quarter-finals, with the tie set to be played at The Sports Ground on January 28 or 29.

Argyle have already beaten Elburton Villa 3-1 and Exmouth Town 4-2 to reach the last eight, with their teams being made up of young professionals such as midfielder Caleb Roberts and apprentices. Roberts scored twice against Exmouth, with Kian Burch and Tegan Finn, who made his first team debut at the age of 16 as a substitute in the 3-0 Championship defeat at Leeds United earlier this month, also on target.

Sean Joyce's Bideford are 17th out of 22 teams in the Southern League Division One South with a record of four wins, four draws and eight defeats. They won 5-3 away to Honiton Town in the St Luke's Cup first round and then had a walkover against Sidmouth Town in round two.

The other quarter-final ties are Barnstaple Town versus Exeter City or Torquay United, Plymouth Parkway at home to Ivybridge Town and Tiverton Town versus Okehampton Argyle.

One of Argyle's team in the second round victory over Exmouth was apprentice midfielder Harley Sneap, who has joined Southern League Division One South side Willand Rovers on work experience. Willand are in 14th position in the table and have an away game against Exmouth tonight.

Sneap was originally in Torquay United's academy before signing for Argyle at the under-12 age group. He has gone on to play regularly for the under-18s' side.
