Police hunt for three men after man left with 'head and face' injuries in Colchester
POLICE are hunting for three men after a man suffered head injuries in an early morning assault in Colchester.
Police officers were called to Sir Isaac’s Walk, close to Head Street, Colchester, at 4am today by the ambulance service.
The man, aged in his 20s, was treated at the scene by medics and was taken to hospital for further treatment.
Thankfully, his injuries aren’t believed to be life threatening or life changing.
No arrests have been made but police enquiries are continuing, and Essex Police are appealing for the public’s help to identify three men captured on CCTV in the area.

A spokesperson for Essex Police said: “We have already spoken to a number of people to obtain their witness accounts and we thank them.
“We need anyone with information on the incident but has not yet spoken to us to get in touch.
“We’d like to speak to anyone with dashcam, mobile phone or CCTV footage of the area.”
