Police 'increasingly concerned' with welfare of missing teen from Cornwall town

POLICE in Cornwall are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing teenager in Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of 14-year-old Jack Haynes to come forward and contact them.

Jack, who has gone missing from the Redruth area of Cornwall, is described as being a white male, five foot six inches tall, of slim build and with mousey brown hair. Police have also said he is believed to be wearing grey tracksuit bottoms with a black coat and a blue Nike t-shirt as well as black trainers.

Anyone with any information on Jack's whereabouts is urged to get in contact with Devon and Cornwall Police on 999 quoting log 623 8 June.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Jack Haynes who is missing from the Redruth area of Cornwall.

"Jack is described as a 14-year-old white male, 5ft 6” tall, slim build with mousey brown hair. He is believed to be wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a black coat, blue Nike t-shirt and black trainers.

"Anyone with information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 999 quoting log 623 8 June."
