Police release image of man after alleged sexual assault of girl, 15, on street
Officers investigating a report of sexual assault in North Tyneside have released an image of a man they would like to trace.
Northumbria Police received a report that a girl, aged 15, was approached by a man as she walked on Deneholm, in the Monkseaton area of Whitley Bay, at 8.55am on Monday May 15.
The victim stepped aside to let the man past, but he then bumped into her shoulder before touching her bottom.
The man then made off in the direction of Relton Terrace.

Officers investigating the case have today (Wednesday) released an image of a man who they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.
The man was in the area at the time the alleged offence took place and they believe he may be able to help with their enquiries.
