POOLE Town have allowed Tony Lee to join National South side Farnborough on a month’s loan.

Lee was subject to intense transfer speculation earlier on this summer, with three professional clubs linked to the striker.

The former Eastleigh and Wimborne man is currently suspended by the Dolphins following an investigation into “allegations”.

In a statement, Poole chairman Chris Reeves shared: “Poole Town FC confirm that a loan arrangement has been reached with Farnborough FC for the temporary transfer of Tony Lee with effect from 6th August to 5th September.

“At the end of the loan period Tony will revert to being a Poole Town player in the absence of any other agreement being reached in the interim.”

The club has made no further comment in regard to the suspension and investigation into Lee.
