Jak Alnwick 5

Couldn't do anything with the Zan Celar strike and was generally decent again with the ball at his feet and with his hands. Made a couple of decent stops to deny Paul Smyth.

Perry Ng 4

Was visibly far more advanced and aided in attack, but Harrison Ashby was afforded a little too much room at times. Should maybe have scored from an early corner but his shot was saved.

Dimitrios Goutas 5

Defensively sound in general and was decent again in the air. Caused a bit of trouble in the opposition box.

Calum Chambers 5

A calming presence back at the heart of defence and put in another solid display. Ball looped over him for Celar's second, though.

Joel Bagan 5

Rarely lets you down and produces a lovely outlet ball down the channel. But passed back or took the safe option a little too often.

Alex Robertson 4

Always a willing receiver but didn't see him penetrate the lines as much as normal with his passing range. Needed to impact more.

Joe Ralls 4

Brought a physical edge to the Bluebirds midfield. Hit a few shots from range which didn't trouble the scorers. Had a low, driven shot parried away after the break. Couldn't drive attacks forward.

Ollie Tanner 4

Hot and cold. Made some good runs and hit some decent crosses but also ran down a couple of blind alleys and couldn't make a telling impact. Just didn't happen for him.

Rubin Colwill 4

Much like the above. Got himself in dangerous positions without producing the killer moment. That last pass, shot or cross just evaded him. Needed more.

Callum O'Dowda 5 (star man)

Moved into a left wing role and was Cardiff's best attacking outlet. Got good crosses in and made clever runs. Led the press well, too.

Callum Robinson 4

His opportunities were few and far between, such was the deep QPR block and Cardiff's lack of ingenuity. Had a header saved from point-blank range from a corner, but a frustrating one on the whole for him.

Subs

Chris Willock (Tanner 62) 4 - Tried too hard and nothing really came off for him.

David Turnbull (Ralls 76) 4 - Passed the ball about nicely but no real penetration.

Yakou Meite (Goutas 81) NA
