Popular clothes shop returns to Swindon Designer Outlet

A new shop has just opened at the Swindon Designer Outlet.

Saltrock welcomed its first customers into the unit next to Superdry in the Rodbourne retail destination on Saturday morning.

This is not the first time the surfwear brand has opened a store in the McArthur Glen outlet village, but it has been absent from the area for years, so this weekend's new addition marks a welcome return.

The Swindon store will offer a wide range of surf-inspired clothing, accessories, and outerwear.

Louise Rees, head of retail and wholesale at Saltrock said: “McArthurGlen Swindon outlet is the perfect location to launch Saltrock’s expansion as it’s such an iconic shopping destination and as we continue to grow Saltrock across the UK.

“We're delighted to return to the Swindon outlet for what will be our third McArthur Glenn outlet store, we look forward to joining the community come Autumn.”

The surfwear brand was founded in 1988 when two brothers brought together by their shared passion for surfing.

Saltrock sell clothing and products inspired by surfing culture and have become a household name with 64 stores nationwide.

In recent weeks, the Designer Outlet has also added Sign of the Times and House of Cavani to its range of stores.
