Graham Potter has named an unchanged Albion XI to kick off against Newcastle.

But there is a significant change on the bench, with Neal Maupay absent.

The French striker is in talks over a move to Nottingham Forest.

Steve Alzate comes on to the bench.

Newcastle give summer signing Sven Adriaan Botman a forst start in defence, replacing injured Matt Targett.

That appears to mean Dan Burn switches to left-back on his return to the Amex.

That is their only change to the XI which started the win over Nottingham Forest last week.

Albion: Sanchez; Veltman, Dunk, Webster; March, Caicedo, Mac Allister, Trossard; Lallana, Gross; Welbeck. Subs: Steele, Lamptey, Colwill, Van Hecke, Mwepu, Alzate, Sarmiento, Undav, Mitoma.

Newcastle: Pope; Trippier, Schar, Botman, Burn; Willock, Guimaraes, Joelinton; Almiron, Wilson, Saint-Maximin. Subs: Dubravka, Dummett, Lascelles, Ritchie, Manquillo, Wood, Murphy, Anderson, Longstaff.
