Power cut hits Tower Park and hundreds of residents
A POWER cut affected hundreds of people in a part of Poole today.
The fault, which was reported to power company SSEN at 10.54am, initially affected some 660 customers, including Tower Park.
A witness told the Daily Echo multiple businesses in the area are without power including Home Bargains, Costa Coffee and The Food Warehouse.

Power was set to be fully restored by 2pm.
SSEN said the fault has occurred on the high voltage network.
An SSEN spokesperson said: "Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks’ (SSEN) engineers are working to restore power to customers in and around the Canford Heath area.
The spokesperon added: "These customers are having their power supplies restored in stages through a switching process being carried out by the engineers on site. All customers are expected to be back on supply by 2pm.
"SSEN apologies for any inconvenience this interruption to power has caused and thanks customers while they work as quickly and safely as possible to restore their supplies."
