TikTok star Bryce Hall's utilities shut off by LA mayor following excessive partying

The city of Los Angeles cut power to a rental home where TikTok stars Bryce Hall, Noah Beck and Blake Gray live in response to parties held at the resident amid the pandemic.

The three men are members of a creator collective known as the Sway House.

Footage from a party Hall hosted for his 21st birthday on August 14 went viral after it clearly showed dozens of maskless attendees crowded together in a room.

After the neighbors complained about the noise, the event was shut down by the Los Angeles Police Department.

“Despite several warnings, this house has turned into a nightclub in the hills, hosting large gatherings in flagrant violation of our public health orders. The city has now disconnected utilities at this home to stop these parties that endanger our community,” Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s statement said.

According to the New York Times, the water is still working at the Hollywood Hills home, which is not the same residence where Hall threw his latest party, though he has thrown other parties there as well.

In July, the Hype House, a different influencer mansion in the same area, hosted a party with dozens of guests. Jake Paul also had a large party in Calabasas days earlier. The list goes on.

On August 4, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health issued a warning about throwing parties during the virus outbreak. The next day, Garcetti announced that the city would shut off the utilities at houses hosting large gatherings.

Influencers have continued to party despite the warning, but this is the first reported time they have faced tangible consequences for their actions from the city.
