Substitute Nathan Dyer's goal in the 89th minute gave Leicester a stunning victory over Aston Villa to lift them into second place in the table.

Dyer's brave header resulted in him being badly hurt but he recovered and played out six minutes of stoppage time.

It was an incredible fightback by the Foxes after they had trailed 2-0 midway through the second half.

Jamie Vardy's 82nd-minute goal had pulled them level after Richie De Laet's close-range effort 10 minutes earlier had given the home side hope.

Jack Grealish's first-ever goal for the Villans - a superb strike from outside the area - had given the visitors a deserved lead at the break.

And although Leicester piled on the pressure in the second half they were caught cold by Carles Gil on 63 minutes.
