Jurgen Klopp makes himself at home in Sefton, in the same flat his Liverpool predecessor lived in when he was in charge at Anfield
Jurgen Klopp has not only got his feet under Brendan Rodgers' table, he has also got his lederhosen in his closet.
Klopp replaced Rodgers as Liverpool boss last week and it has been revealed that the German has taken over Rodgers'old flat in the Sefton area of the city.
The Daily Mail has reported that Klopp will pay £4,000 a month to rent the £1.2m penthouse and took his wife Ulla and his son and her girlfriend to check the place out -a long with their pet dog and club liaison officer Ray Haughan.
Once ensconced in his new home, Klopp wll begin the task of turning Liverpool into genuine title contenders but he has called for patience from the fans.
He told Bild: "I am humbled to have this chance. Lots of German coaches have been successful but not many come here. This is a big challenge for me and my coaching team.
"Liverpool have had a period without success and changed managers a lot. Now the hope is for miracles, but progress takes time.
"I had a long conversation [with John Henry]. The aim is to develop a recognisable brand of football.'
