Manchester United manager David Moyes is an admirer of the 24-year-old and has watched the midfielder on two separate occasions this season - the most recent example during a 2-0 win over Arsenal in the Champions league in which Kroos scored the match-winning goal.
The Germany international’s contract is due to expire at the Allianz Arena in the summer of 2015, but the Bavarian club are stalling on offering a new deal due to the player’s wage demands which are “through the roof”, according to Bayern president Franz Beckenbauer.
United boss Moyes was pictured speaking to Kroos’ agent during Bayern’s win over Borussia Moenchengladbach in January, and it now appears that a potential move could be even closer after Toni’s brother Felix – who plays for Werder Bremen – revealed that the family had discussed the move.
"We've already talked about (Toni's potential move to Manchester United)," Felix Kroos told Sky Germany.
"Manchester has been my dream team since I was a child. But I don’t give him any advice.
"He will take a good decision all by himself. There are worse situations than having to decide something like that."
