Hughton mixed things up at half-time and his raft of changes worked as the contest was settled midway through the second half, with all three goals coming in the space of six minutes.

Luciano Becchio scored a first goal for his new club with a near-post finish from Robert Snodgrass's cross on 64 minutes before Anthony Pilkington made it two just four minutes later.

Josh Murphy added a third in quick succession with a rasping effort from 16 yards.

New signings Leroy Fer and Ricky van Wolfswinkel were made to wait for their first bow in Canaries' shirts - Hughton is saving the pair for the upcoming clashes against MLS sides San Jose and Portland.

Nathan Redmond, who also arrived at Carrow Road this summer, did get a run-out, however.
