Bacary Sagna has apparently told team-mates he expects to leave the club at the end of the season after being offered a 'disrepsectful' contract extension.

The 29-year-old was offered an extra 12 months on his current deal, which expires in 2014, but Arsenal are unwilling to increase his current £60,000-a-week pay packet.

Arsenal lost Robin van Persie in the summer as he entered the final year of his contract. Theo Walcott could leave for free at the end of the season when he will be eligible for a Bosman transfer.

Tottenham are to make a fresh bid for Portugal midfielder Joao Moutinho in the transfer window, according to the Daily Mirror.

Manager Andre Villas-Boas missed out on the Porto man in the summer, and is preparing a new £24m offer.

And now for something that definitely isn't going to happen: Aston Villa are demanding £18 million for Darren Bent, the Mail says.

Given the England striker is nearly 29 and cannot get a game in one of the Premier League's most flaccid attacks, they will be lucky to get half that.

QPR remain favourites to sign Bent, despite what Harry said about Sandra and that open goal.

Soemebody get Hulk a set of FIFA regulations. The Brazilian joined Zenit St Petersburg from Porto in September for an eye-watering £40 million.

However, it has all gone horribly wrong, and the 26-year-old is now feuding with coach Luciano Spalletti.

Spalletti was treated to a Hulk sulk after substituting him against Milan on Tuesday, with the striker saying: "If the situation with the coach does not resolve itself I may leave the club in the January transfer window."

Well, he might be allowed to join another club in January, but he won't be allowed to play for them.

FIFA rules state that a player can only represent a maximum of two clubs in a season, and Hulk has already played for Porto and Zenit.

Still with Zenit, they are the latest club to declare an interest in Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

A source from the big-spending Russians told The Sun: “The management expect to strengthen midfield. The signings will be of high quality.

“Belgium international Marouane Fellaini is on the list. He has clearly proved himself for Everton.”

And finally, Everton and Liverpool both fancy Birmingham goalkeeper Jack Butland, while Sunderland want striker John Guidetti from Manchester City on loan.
