“He will sign with QPR once he has passed the medical,” the South Korean club said in a press release.

Further details of the transfer were not given, but even if the deal is formally agreed the player would require a work permit.

Yun, 22, played in the South Korea side that claimed bronze at the London Olympics last year, beating Great Britain on penalties in the quarter-finals.

He will link-up with former South Korea captain Park Ji-sung at Loftus Road.

QPR are bottom of the Premier League with 15 points in 23 matches, five points shy of safety.
