We are right into the business end of the Premier League season, with gameweek 33 having arrived.

Everton earned a rare win at Arsenal to kick off the weekend’s action on Friday night. On Saturday lunchtime, Liverpool drew 1-1 with Newcastle having missed a host of chances.

Chelsea then won 1-0 at West Ham in a massive game in the race for the Champions League, before already-relegated Sheffield United beat Brighton 1-0 to make the Seagulls’ own survival hopes that little bit tougher.

On Sunday, Wolves were thumped by Burnley in the early kick-off before Leeds and Manchester United played out a bore draw at Elland Road. Aston Villa then denied West Brom a much-needed win with a late equaliser to dent the Baggies’ survival hopes.

Leicester had the advantage of watching most of their top-four rivals play before beating Crystal Palace 2-1 at the King Power Stadium on Monday night.
