Premier League team news: Carroll out for Hammers, Jose makes changes

West Ham v West Brom (3pm)

England manager Gareth Southgate went to the London Stadium to watch revitalised West Ham striker Andy Carroll – but he’s out injured.

Manuel Lanzini replaces him.

West Ham: Randolph, Kouyate, Fonte, Reid, Cresswell, Feghouli, Noble, Obiang, Snodgrass, Antonio, Lanzini.

Tony Pulis names an unchanged West Brom side from the one that started the 1-0 win over Stoke last Saturday.

West Brom: Foster, Nyom, Dawson, McAuley, Brunt, Livermore, Fletcher, Chadli, Morrison, Phillips, Rondon.

Manchester United v Watford (3pm)

United make two changes, Daley Blind returns to the defence in place of Marcos Rojo while Anthony Martial is in for Marcus Rashford.

United: de Gea, Valencia, Bailly, Smalling, Blind, Ander Herrera, Pogba, Mata, Mkhitaryan, Martial, Ibrahimovic. Subs: Rooney, Lingard, Carrick, Rashford, Romero, Fellaini, Darmian.

Watford make one change, Miguel Britos comes in to defence for Valon Behrami.

Middlesbrough v Everton (3pm)

Middlesbrough make one change from the side who lost 1-0 to Spurs last time out, with Cristhian Stuani coming in for Stewart Downing.

Middlesbrough: Valdes, Chambers, Bernardo, Gibson, Fabio, De Roon, Clayton, Forshaw, Traore, Negredo, Stuani.

Everton make two changes from the side who started last week’s 6-3 win over Bournemouth as Tom Davies returns in place of James McCarthy and Idrissa Gueye comes in for Gareth Barry.

Sunderland v Southampton (3pm)

The Black Cats make one change from their 4-0 win last time out at Crystal Palace with Darron Gibson replacing Jack Rodwell.

Sunderland: Mannone, Denayer, O’Shea, Kone, Jones, Ndong, Gibson, Larsson, Oviedo, Januzaj, Defoe.

Southampton make two changes from their home defeat to West Ham with Nathan Redmond and Dusan Tadic coming in for Dusan Tadic and Sofiane Boufal.

Stoke City v Crystal Palace (3pm)

Stoke recall Ramadan Sobhi in place of Ibrahim Afellay.

Two changes for Crystal Palace boss Sam Allardyce after last week’s 4-0 hammering at home to Sunderland.

Serbia midfielder Luka Milivojevic makes his Eagles debut, with Andros Townsend also recalled. Out go centre-back Scott Dann and midfielder Yohan Cabaye.
