Mohamed Salah is leading the race for the 2021/22 Premier League Golden Boot.

A tally of 11 goals is enough for the Liverpool attacker to hold a two-goal lead after the gameweek 13 round of matches, though he did not score against Southampton.

Jamie Vardy is in second place on nine goals after scoring twice against Watford, with Liverpool duo Sadio Mane and Diogo Jota in third.

Vardy’s return to form is a boost for the Foxes as he has carried the load more than any other player in the division last season, with 44 per cent of his team’s goals.

Michail Antonio is having a bit of a dry spell, with one goal in seven Premier League outings and six in total.

He is ahead of Emmanuel Dennis, Joshua King, Maxwel Cornet, Raphinha and Ismaila Sarr, who are all on five goals.
