PREP GIRLS BASKETBALL: Georgetown-Ridge Farm gets past Armstrong-Potomac

Feb. 8—ARMSTRONG — The Georgetown-Ridge Farm girls basketball team outscored Armstrong-Potomac 14-11 in the fourth quarter to pull off a 43-39 win on Thursday.

Madi Spesard had 19 points with five in the fourth quarter for the Buffaloes, while Kendall Roberts had 10 points and Savana Cunningham added nine points.

Kayla Crull had 17 points to lead the Trojans, while McKenna Ackerman had 11 points, Elle Jameson had seven and Christine Bailey had four.

The Buffaloes will host Schlarman Academy in regional play on Saturday, while the Trojans will play Champaign Academy on Saturday in regional action.
