Bello Kofarmata reveals El Kanemi Warriors' preparation ahead of the second round of the 2016/17 Nigerian Professional Football League campaign 'has been terrific'.

Ladan Bosso's men sit third in the league table, tied on 33 points with second-placed MFM and two points adrift log-leaders, Plateau united.

And the former FC IfeanyiUbah forward says that the Desert Warriors are working hard towards the decisive part of the ongoing season in order to 'keep the momentum at the top'.

"Our preparation for the second round of the season has been terrific and by the grace of God we shall get what we want; which is to lift the league trophy or pick up a minimum of a continental ticket," Kofarmata told Goal.

"We shall compliment our effort in the first round by making sure we keep the charge at the top three. We shall keep the momentum at the top intact because we can't afford to drop on the table.

"We have been excellent at home and to a large extent we have replicated that on the road as we have picked up points on the road.

"We shall give much more than we did in the first half of the season because we have a target to meet. The management of the club have very supportive and it's time for the playing squad to do their part," he concluded.
