Preps: Beavers beat Shady, 75-57

Jan. 27—BLUEFIELD — Kamron Gore scored 22 points and sorted out five assists and the Bluefield boys basketball team picked up a 75-57 win over Shady Spring at Brushfork Armory, on Friday night.

RJ Hairston scored 19 points and had 10 rebounds for the Beavers (8-2) while Jase Smith scored 18 points and Glen Keene hit three trifectas en route to 12.

Ammar Maxwell scored 30 points and grabbed five rebounds while handing out four assists for Shady Spring.

River View 58, Man 32

BRADSHAW — Jackson Danielson scored 12

Kaiden Newberry 11, Ashton Hunt and Ethan Justice nine apiece. Gabe Lester scored eight.

Jake Endicott scored seven for the Hillbillies and Micah Goble scored seven.

River View (10-1) plays Montcalm at home at 1 p.m. on Tuesday.

MONTCALM — Donovan Reed scored 16 points and the Generals pulled rank on the visiting Lumberjacks.

Justin Pacitto contributed 15 points to the winning cause.
