Tottenham look to avoid an FA Cup upset as Preston welcome them to Deepdale tonight.

Antonio Conte’s side edged past League One outfit Portsmouth in the third round and they now come up against Championship opposition, as they target a run in a competition that could bring a lift in spirits.

It is certainly Spurs’ best chance of silverware this season and they are strong favourites to make it through to the fifth round, even if Conte opts to shuffle his pack.

Preston sit 11th in the Championship table and goals continue to be a problem, with just 26 scored in their 28 league games so far this term.

This is a fragile Tottenham defence though, and the free-hit nature of tonight’s clash could inspire a bit more attacking ambition.
