Promotion hero back in squad as Luton Town players told 'take that to Coventry City'
Former Coventry City favourite Liam Walsh is back available for Luton Town after serving a three-match suspension ahead of Saturday’s trip to the CBS Arena (12.30pm kick-off).
The 27-year-old midfielder, who was one of the Sky Blues’ stars of their 2019/20 League One promotion campaign when Mark Robins’ men went up as champions, was shown a straight red card for a bad tackle just seconds after going on as a substitute in the 2-2 draw with Oxford last month, but will be back in contention for a place in the Town side tomorrow.
Rob Edwards says Walsh - who joined the relegated club on a free transfer from Swansea in the summer - is likely to be the only addition to the squad with the manager confirming it is unlikely any of the players carrying knocks will be available.

Shandon Baptiste, Reece Burke, Amari’i Bell, Teden Mengi and Mads Andersen remain on the comeback trail as they strive to get back to full fitness.
“We’ve got a good squad and we’re going to need it,” Edwards said at his pre-match press conference on Friday.
“We’ve got lots of strength in depth and I’m sure we’re going to get stronger as the season goes on.”
The Hatters go into the game off the back of two strong performances at Kenilworth Road this week, having beaten Watford 3-0 and then narrowly lost 2-1 to leaders Sunderland, and the boss is hoping for more.
“There’s been a real energy and vibe around the place these last two weeks,” he said. “We’ll concentrate on ourselves.
“The boys have delivered two very good performances and the challenge now is to go and reproduce that and I’ll back them do it.
“Now we’ve got to go and take that to Coventry.”
