PSG have a secret weapon up in the race to tempt Bordeaux forward Malcom away from the Premier League, with Arsenal and Tottenham reportedly both interested.

Bayern Munich are also keen on the 21-year-old, who has only been in French for two years but has already become a fans favourite with the Bordeaux fans. However, it is widely accepted that he will almost certainly leave the club this summer for one of Europe’s big boys.

However, according to French magazine France Football, PSG think they have an ace up their sleeves in the battle to sign winger Malcom – who ironically does not play in the middle – and it’s all down to agents.

According to reports, PSG’s director of football Antero Henrique has a close relationship with Elenko Sports, Malcom’s agency, and they hope that ‘secret weapon’ could prove vital in any deal.

“I want to play for an elite club in Europe, win the Champions League and play for the Selecao [Brazil’s national team],” said the youngster. “When I play for a big club, my chances improve.

“I want to thank Bordeaux for everything. First I want to finish the season with the best possible result and then I am going to sit down with my agent and family. Together we will make a decision.

“I am learning English, because it is the most important language in the world. Wherever you are, with English you can get along. So that is very important for me.”
