  1. Combine shredded cabbage, carrots, honey mustard and parsley in a bowl and chill.

  2. Next, mix brown sugar, pepper, salt and chili powder and set aside.

  3. Mix barbecue sauce and water and set aside.

  4. Place pork shoulder into slow cooker. Sprinkle seasoning and pour barbecue mixture over pork.

  5. Set the slow cooker to high and cook for 8 hours.

  6. Once done, remove pork and use a fork or meat shredder claws to shred. Mix meat with one cup of leftover liquid.

  7. Assemble buns with meat, slaw, pickles and serve.
