QPR man makes 'alarming' admission ahead of Stoke City test
QPR host Stoke City in an ‘alarming’ situation according to Hoops midfielder Jonathan Varane.
Narcis Pelach’s men visit the Loftus Road Stadium on Saturday (3pm) looking to build on their three-game unbeaten run and move closer to the play-off positions.
They will find an opponent with very different considerations - rooted to the bottom of the table after not having won since August and on a sequence of seven defeats in their last 12 games.

However, speaking to website So Foot during the international break the 23-year-old, who is in his first season in England, says he is fully behind embattled QPR head coach Martí Cifuentes.
“It's true that it's alarming,” the former Sporting Gijon man said of QPR's plight. “ But honestly, I have a lot of hope. We have a good base. There was a lack of efficiency in both [penalty] areas, creativity and we have nine or 10 injuries, especially in the attacking part.
“Against Sunderland, who are leading the Championship, we can win. The first goal against Leeds (0-2), it's a mess. We're not far away, luck will change. The coach is good! I'm very, very positive, nothing is decided.”
Stoke will hope their luck doesn’t change this weekend as they look to avenge the 4-2 defeat suffered at the same venue a year ago.
