Rabbi Matondo is heading for the Rangers exit door as he gets ready to join Coventry City.

The Wales international has fallen down the pecking order under Philippe Clement at Ibrox, while he has also spent time on the sidelines injured. But he's set for a move to the English Championship on loan and is currently south of the border finalising a move.

The speedy attacker has played just eight games in all competitions so far this season with two goals and three assists to his name. A hamstring injury ruled him out for a large period of the campaign early on, but since his return he's found minutes rare to come by.

Alex Lowry left the club last night for his own move to England after joining Championship promotion hopefuls Wycombe Wanderers. His exit from Ibrox is on a full-time basis and Matondo looks likely to be the next name to follow him out the door.

The likes of Kieran Dowell, Cyriel Dessers and Adam Devine have all been mentioned as potentials to also move on as Clement looks to raise extra funds to help his January recruitment. He's brought in defender Rafael Fernandes on loan from Lille so far with the Belgian hoping to land further reinforcements before the window slams shut.
