The men’s semi-finals for the French Open take place today with Rafael Nadal out to continue his remarkable run against Alexander Zverev.

A titanic showdown with Novak Djokovic in the last eight forced the Spaniard into one of his greatest-ever performances at Rolland Garros, from a very long highlights reel.

No3 seed Zverev put in his own rather decent display to down Carlos Alcaraz in his own gruelling quarter-final battle.
