Marshawn Lynch has been traded to the Raiders and will unretire from football, his hometown team announced Wednesday.
The former Seahawks running back had been in rumors for months, but the possibility of it happening was getting slim. Many reports said if a deal didn't get done by the NFL Draft, then Oakland would likely move on from trying to acquire the veteran back.
Instead, Lynch and the Raiders were able to work out a two-year deal (via ESPN), and then the Seahawks managed to work out the terms on a trade. After the news broke Wednesday morning, players on Oakland's roster took time to celebrate on Twitter.
Even Lynch himself joined in on the social media action.

The trade isn't official yet, and is pending a physical, but the deal is expected to happen as early as Wednesday. Judging from the Raiders' reaction, the players can't wait to have Lynch in the locker room with them.
