Derby are waiting to discover the extent of the ankle injury that Jeff Hendrick suffered against Ipswich.
Hendrick, who recently signed a new contract until 2015, went down injured inside the Rams` penalty area late on in the controversial 1-0 defeat at Portman Road on Saturday. He received treatment before he was carried off the pitch.
The 19-year-old midfielder has featured in all 22 npower Championship games this season and has started 19 times, but manager Nigel Clough was not happy with Hendrick`s contribution in Suffolk.
"I think it is his ankle, we will have to wait and see. But I don't think he played very well. I thought he was off the pace again, which was disappointing," said Clough.
"He looked a lot older than his 19 years, physically. He looked quite lethargic.
"He's been off it for the last few weeks, generally speaking, probably since everybody started talking about him and his new deal."
