Rising sophomore Thad Moss, the son of former NFL wide receiver Randy Moss, announced via Twitter on Thursday he will transfer fromNCStateafter the spring semester.
A 6-4, 240-pound tight end from Charlotte, N.C., Moss wrote, in part, that he is looking to "better my opportunities for the future."
Moss started three games as a freshman last season, finishing with six catches for 49 yards and one touchdown.
He becomes the second tight end to announce this week that he's leaving the Wolfpack program. Pharoah McKever will graduate next month and play elsewhere in 2017 season, the school said (via The News & Observer).
