Thaddeus Moss, the son of former NFL wide receiver Randy Moss, announced via Twitter on Sunday that he "will be transferring to LSU in the summer."

The tweet included a picture of Moss with Tigers running back Derrius Guice and mentioned new LSU coach Ed Orgeron.
A 6-4, 240-pound tight end from Charlotte, N.C., Moss — who started three games as a true freshman last season at NC State — will sit out the 2017 season and have three years of eligibility remaining.
He finished the 2016 season with six catches for 49 yards and one touchdown.
In announcing his plan to transfer, Moss wrote on Twitter earlier this month that he was looking to "better my opportunities for the future."
