Randy Moss’ son to transfer to LSU from NC State

A 6-4, 240-pound tight end from Charlotte, N.C., Moss started three games as a true freshman last season at NC State.

Thaddeus Moss, the son of former NFL wide receiver Randy Moss, announced via Twitter on Sunday that he "will be transferring to LSU in the summer."

The tweet included a picture of Moss with Tigers running back Derrius Guice and mentioned new LSU coach Ed Orgeron.

A 6-4, 240-pound tight end from Charlotte, N.C., Moss — who started three games as a true freshman last season at NC State — will sit out the 2017 season and have three years of eligibility remaining.

He finished the 2016 season with six catches for 49 yards and one touchdown.
