Rangers confirm Ibrox return date but full stadium WON'T be open
Rangers will be back at Ibrox for the Premier Sports Cup tie against Dundee, they have confirmed.
The sides meet in the quarter-finals on September 21 and Gers had hoped to be back inside their home stadium for that one. The league tie against Hibs the following weekend had been mentioned as the return date but club chiefs were always optimistic of being back in a week earlier.
It puts to an end their spell playing at Hampden while work went on to the Copland Stand, after renovations were put on hold due to the delay of the delivery of some materials. Rangers confirmed the return this evening but revealed the Copland Stand will NOT yet be open.

A statement reads: "Rangers Football Club today confirms our Premier Sports Cup tie with Dundee on Saturday, 21 September, will be played at Ibrox Stadium. Excluding the Copland Stand, where final concourse and seating works are ongoing, all areas of our home will be open for this match. Season ticket holders from the Copland Stand will be offered an exclusive window to purchase seating elsewhere.
"The continuous credit card scheme (CCCS) will return for this game for all supporters, excluding those in the Copland Stand. Tickets for this 5:30pm kick-off are priced at £23 for adults, £17 for concessions and £11 for juniors."
