Rangers Masters Sixes squad confirmed as Jermain Defoe poised for return
Rangers have confirmed their Masters Sixes team to take part in the 2024 competition - with Jermain Defoe leading the line.
The veteran striker is a hero at Ibrox despite a relatively short stint in Glasgow but he still has love for the club and will don the blue again when they take to the 'pitch' at Aberdeen's P&J Live Arena later this year.
Gers will face off against rivals Celtic who won the competition in 2023 while Dundee United and the Dons will also put forward teams to compete. Alongside Defoe will be Barry Ferguson, Kris Boyd, Lee McCulloch, Graham Dorrans, Pedro Mendes, Roy Carroll and Dean Shiels.
