Celtic and Rangers meet for the first silverware of the Scottish season this afternoon in the Betfred Cup final.

Celtic’s ‘Treble Treble’ has seen them win the last nine trophies on offer and head to Hampden Park on a run of 11 straight wins in all competitions.

Rangers meanwhile have gone eight long years without a major trophy – but they have the chance again to halt their bitter rivals and secure what would be a first trophy in management for Steven Gerrard.

The Hoops warmed up for Sunday's showdown with a stoppage-time win over Hamilton while Gers threw away two points at Pittodrie, allowing Aberdeen to come from two goals down to snatch a draw.
