Rangers vs St Johnstone set for Sunday NIGHT move to solve fixture issue
Rangers are reportedly set to have their clash with St Johnstone moved to Sunday NIGHT to help the SPFL solve a fixture clash with the Great Scottish Run.
The Light Blues confirmed this week that they'd be returning to their home at Ibrox before the game against Craig Levein's side following weeks of action at Hampden due to the Copland Road stand still being worked on. They're pencilled in to move back to their real home against Dundee next week - albeit not all stands will be open.
But now the Daily Record are reporting that the fixture two weeks after that return has been an issue for the scheduling setters due to Gers' competition in the Europa League on October 3.

Philippe Clement's side face Lyon on the Thursday so their match in the Premiership would have to take place that Sunday. And that would coincide with the Great Scottish Run on the same day where runners will take part in a 10km challenge around Glasgow.
That would see a number of roads closed throughout the day and put the Gers game and attendance there in jeopardy.
The same publication claims that could see the game pushed back to a 5pm kick-off or even perhaps an 8pm kick-off time which would inconvenience punters and travelling fans.
