Rangers without FIVE stars for Dundee United clash as Philippe Clement issues injury update

Rangers are without five first-team stars for their trip to Dundee United this weekend.

Manager Philippe Clement confirmed that Danilo, Rabbi Matondo and Ridvan Yilmaz are all sidelined for the clash at Tannadice as the Light Blues look to bounce back from their recent outing at Celtic when they were beaten 3-0.

Gers have been missing some of their top talents in recent weeks with the likes of Oscar Cortes being forced out for five weeks. But now the Colombian has returned to training while Hamza Igamane is also working hard after making an appearance off the bench at Celtic Park.

Clement, on the injuries, said: "Ross (McCausland) picked up a knock on international duty, but it shouldn't be too bad. Ridvan is still out along with Danilo and Matondo. Ridvan is back doing individual work outside."

Meanwhile he added: "Oscar (Cortes) played 60 minutes in our closed door game, he is progressing well along with Hamza. Nedim Bajrami trained with the team for the first time today.

"We will make a decision after training tomorrow."
