During the Trent Rockets vs Southern Brave match in The Hundred on Friday, Rashid Khan came out to the field with Afghanistan’s flag painted on his cheeks. The right-arm spinner is tensed about his family, who are also stuck in Afghanistan. He is unable to take out his family from the country.

Meanwhile, Trent Rockets had to defend a total of 96 runs in the match. Rashid Khan couldn’t come up with a great show. He scored 2 runs off the 9 balls while batting in the 1st innings. With the ball, he conceded 26 runs in 2.3 overs while remaining wicketless in the game.
Batting first, Rockets were bowled out for 96 with none of their batsmen crossing 20 runs in the game. Later, Brave’s James Vince bagged the winning runs for the team with his unbeaten 45 runs off 27 balls. As a result, Trent Rockets lost to Southern Brave in the match by 7 wickets.
With the loss, Trent Rockets were also eliminated from The Hundred tournament. The Trent Rockets vs Southern Brave game was the Eliminator clash. Now, Southern Brave will square off with Birmingham Phoenix in the final on August 21 at Lord’s. Rashid Khan executed a spectacular performance in the tournament.
