Rasmus Hojlund shows true Man United colours with five-word Ruben Amorim message

Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund could not hide his delight after scoring a brace to help his team come from behind to beat Bodo/Glimt 3-2 in the Europa League.

The Danish striker had a hand in all three goals as United picked up their first three points under Ruben Amorim. United took the lead inside a minute when Hojlund dispossessed the visiting goalkeeper allowing Alejandro Garnacho to tap home into an empty net.

However, the Reds lost their way after that and conceded twice inside four minutes to chase the game. Thankfully for United, Hojlund equalised on the stroke of half-time with a brilliant two-touch finish to lessen the sting of Amorim's half-time team talk.

Shortly after the interval, United regained their lead with Hojlund flicking the ball on at the near post in front of the Stretford End. His goals were his third and fourth of the season and he likely cemented himself a starting spot at home to Everton at the weekend.

Taking to Instagram after the match, Hojlund could not hide his delight at getting back among the goals as he shared a picture of his celebration followed by the caption: "It just never gets old." Victory for United was not only important in the context of Amorim's new era but also for their Europa League ambitions.

United have moved up to 12th in the table, just a point off the all important top eight. Teams who finish in these positions will advance automatically into the round of 16.

Should United finish between 9th and 24th, they will be forced to settle for a knockout play-off in February to decide their fate. They have three games remaining in the Europa League with a trip to Viktoria Plzen this year before clashes with Rangers at Old Trafford and FCSB in the New Year.
