After the Indian team’s incredible victory at Lord’s in the 2nd Test against England, India’s head coach Ravi Shastri said that winning at Lord’s is something very special. The Virat Kohli and boys hammered England batsmen in the 2nd innings on Day 5 to restrict them to just 120 against a target of 272. Eight England batsmen were dismissed for a single-digit score against a dangerous pace attack by India.

England had a dominant position in the match at the stumps of Day 4. After gaining a 27-run lead in the 1st innings, the Joe Root led-side had pushed India to a miserable score of 208-8.

However, Indian pacers Mohammed Shami (56*) and Jasprit Bumrah (34*) shattered an 89-run stand for the 9th wicket, taking India to a total of 298-8 (d). Later, India pacers crushed England batsmen to win the game by 151 runs, earning a massive victory at Lord’s.
