Real Madrid Flop Martin Odegaard's Struggles in Real Life Are Very Much Replicated on FIFA 17

If there is one player in the world of football whose career has failed to live up to the hype, then Norway's Martin Odegaard is the one.

The midfielder was linked with just about every club before he signed for Spanish giants Real Madrid back in 2015, aged just 16-years-old.

Two years later and the 'wonderkid' still very much remains a kid, although sadly the wonder has long evaporated.

It is hoped that an 18-month loan move to Dutch side SC Heerenveen will help Odegaard to rediscover his magic and prove to cynics that his move to the Bernabeu was more than a publicity stunt.

Whilst we await to see whether the move will work out, the player's curbed development is perfectly summed up on FIFA, after the player's stats have been unearthed.

Though Odegaard is given an overall rating of 70 on the current edition, with the potential to rise to 83, his physical attributes severely let him down.

Despite his  dribbling reading 83 and his acceleration 78, the Norwegian's overall physical rating is a meagre  35 physical.  That is partly owed to the fact that his strength rating is 34, his aggression is 32 and even stamina is as low as 35.

All of which means that he can be bullied off the ball by the bigger boys and ironically, much like his career so far, he may start well in matches, but he will easily tire and probably be out of puff by the 60th minute.
