Real Madrid midfielder Isco admits 'future is at stake' as he weighs up next career move

Real Madrid midfielder Isco has confirmed he will consider leaving the Spanish club at the end of the season.

Madrid beat Manchester City to Isco's signature in the summer of 2014 and the Spaniard was tipped to become a key figure at the Bernabeu.

But Isco has struggled for game time since Zinedine Zidane took charge and is set to assess his future in the summer, with his contract due to expire in 2018.

The 24-year-old has scored five goals in 17 La Liga appearances this season, yet remains concerned he has only been deemed worthy of 11 starts.

"I'm calm," he told Bein Sports. "What worries me is to have minutes. A player's career is small.

"From now until the end of the season, I'll make a decision. It's my future at stake."

Standard Sport understands Tottenham showed an interest in Isco during last summer's transfer window.

Mauricio Pochettino is still an admirer of the midfielder and Spurs are expected to be one of Isco's suitors if he decides to leave the Spanish capital.
