Real Madrid defender Fabio Coentrao paid someone £3,500 to cheat on his driving theory before he first moved to Spain and Real Madrid from Portugal.
Coentrao did this because he was apparently desperate to get a license before he moved to Spain from Portugal. So he decided to pay someone a staggering £3,500 to make hand signals...
Yes you read correct. Hand signals.

According to Portuguese paper O Jogo, the person who he paid this incredible amount to assisted him by pointing to the correct answers in the background - all so that Fabio would pass before moving to Spain and not fail and have to re-take it.

However, the Portugeuse defender now has to pay a punishment for this act, as a court order has ordered him to pay £2,600 to a charity food bank in Braga as a punishment for cheating on the test.
In court, Coentrao explained that he was so desperate to get his hands on a license before he moved to Spain that he had to do it.
So if you are rich or just happen to have around £6,000 kicking about, just go ahead and cheat on your driving theory test to get it all over and done with. Well worth it to get someone to make some helpful hand signals for you...
