Real Madrid star set to miss Liverpool clash as Carlo Ancelotti slammed in social media rant
Real Madrid's problems are worsening ahead of their Champions League showdown with Liverpool. After a 3-1 loss to AC Milan on Tuesday, reports have suggested Aurelien Tchouameni will be out for around a month due to a sprained ankle.
The Reds are set to host the European champions on November 27 at Anfield. While Liverpool look poised to qualify for the knockout stages at a canter having won all four of their games in the European Cup so far, Madrid have some work to do.
They have won two and lost two of their games , meaning they sit down in 17th position in the new league format after Tuesday's matches. With fixtures to follow on Wednesday, they could finish Week 4 even further down the standings.

Tchouameni picked up the issue in the loss to Milan and according to reports in Spain he now facing a prolonged spell on the sidelines. The France international was linked with the Reds a couple of years ago and since moving to Madrid has established a reputation as one of the best midfielders in Europe.
Despite the talent in their squad - Kylian Mbappe arrived on a free transfer in the summer to join the likes of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior - all is not well at the Santiago Bernabeu.
A 4-0 loss to rivals Barcelona on home soil left the Madridistas fuming, while the defeat to Milan has heaped more pressure on manager Carlo Ancelotti.
The Italian coach, who has won the Champions League five times, has also been subject to criticism over his use of Federico Valverde from the player's wife in the aftermath of the Milan loss.
"If I say what I really think, I'll end up in jail," said Mina Bonino on X after the Uruguayan was taken off at half time.
In response to a supporter who replied suggesting the change was tactical, she replied: "Brother, Fede plays best as a midfielder. What are you talking about? When are they going to understand once and for all that Fede isn’t a winger?"
Madrid also recently boycotted the Ballon d'Or ceremony in a perceived show of solidarity with their star winger Vinicius. There was anger in the Spanish capital after the Brazilian, who was the long-time favourite to win the prize, missed out on the award to Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
