Fede Valverde is suspended following his Supercopa red card against Atletico Madrid, though Real may feel that is a small price to pay as the tackle very likely prevented a late winner for Alvaro Morata before Los Blancos went on to win the penalty shootout.

Marco Asensio and Eden Hazard are out, but continue their injury rehab. Zidane is confident Sergio Ramos is in with a chance of returning from an ankle problem.
