New NRL club Redcliffe have announced the signing of New Zealand international Jamayne Isaako from Brisbane on a three-year deal.

He will play alongside fellow new signings Felise Kaufusi and Ray Stone ahead of their first season as a professional club in 2023.

Isaako made his debut for the Broncos in 2017, after impressing in the Queensland Cup. He was then able to cement his spot at full-back for Brisbane and won the NRL Rookie of the Year.

Since making his debut, he has played 76 games for Brisbane, scoring 24 tries and 216 goals. He has a successful kick rate of more than 80-per-cent.

He has also played five times for New Zealand. His only try came in a 12-8 win against Great Britain back in 2019. Isaako also played one game for Samoa.

Speaking to, Dolphins CEO Terry Reader said of Isaako: “Jamayne is fast, elusive and a point-scoring machine, so we welcome him into the first ever Dolphins squad.

“We have signed a couple of quality forwards in Felise Kaufusi and Ray Stone so it is encouraging to get an international outside back onto our roster as well.

“Jamayne is a great pick up for the Dolphins for our first year – it means we are pretty sure we already know who will be kicking goals for us in 2023.”
