The backline will remain unchanged with George 'Wise' Owino and Lennox Ogutu starting for the struggling 'Slum Boys'

The Independent Disciplinary and Appeals Committee (IDAC) have reduced the ban against Mathare United head coach Francis Kimanzi from seven matches to four.

The coach was handed a one-month touchline ban by Kenyan Premier League’s Independent Disciplinary and Complains Committee (IDCC) but he has successfully challenged the decision at IDAC.

This information has been confirmed by the club on their official Facebook page."After sitting out of three consecutive league matches, head coach Francis Kimanzi has been handed a reprieve after his seven match ban was reduced to four matches by the Independent Disciplinary and Appeals Committee (IDAC).

"Kimanzi, who had earlier been handed a one month ban by the Independent Disciplinary and Complains Committee (IDCC), moved with speed to appeal the decision which has now been overturned by the IDAC.

"In its ruling, IDAC upheld the Kshs 50,000 fine against Kimanzi but noted that the one month touchline ban does not effectively communicate the sanction applicable to the coach according to FIFA rules."

He was away when the team played against Ulinzi Stars, Chemelil Sugar and Gor Mahia.
