Arizona Cardinals tight end Ricky Seals-Jones was arrested over the weekend after a dispute over trying to use a hotel bathroom, KTAR in Phoenix reports.

Scottsdale police arrested Seals-Jones and charged him with assault, disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing at the W hotel on Saturday, according to a police report obtained by KTAR.

Seals-Jones allegedly fought with staff over bathroom access

Seals-Jones attempted to use a bathroom at the hotel when he was not a guest, according to the report. When employees denied Seals-Jones entry, he reportedly attempted to use another bathroom at a sushi restaurant inside the hotel, where he was again denied access.

An employee said that Seals-Jones then became combative and “one-hand shoved him in the shoulder area,” according to the report. Seals then, citing an urgent bathroom need, tried to walk past employees when hotel staff pushed him to the ground.

The police reports states that Seals-Jones appeared to be intoxicated, KTAR reports.

Another black eye for Cardinals

The reported arrest is the latest incident in an offseason filled with trouble for the Cardinals. On Tuesday, general manager Steve Keim pleaded guilty to extreme DUI for a July 4 incident that resulted in a $200,000 fine and five-week suspension.

In May, prosecutors dropped charges against rookie Cardinals wide receiver Christian Kirk after he reportedly paid for damage caused when he allegedly threw rocks at parked cars outside of a Scottsdale PGA event in February.

Seals-Jones played in 10 games as an undrafted rookie for the Cardinals last season, tallying 12 catches for 201 yards and three touchdowns.
