Cristiano Ronaldo reacted furiously to Lionel Messi's late equaliser in last weekend's El Clasico. Real Madrid were a man down after Sergio Ramos had been sent off, meaning the 2-2 draw would have been a good result and maintained Real's advantage going into the last few games.
However, in a game where Zinedine Zidane's men could have pulled six points clear, they have now found themselves level in the table with Barcelona, thanks to a last minute Messi equaliser.
According to GiveMeSport, Ronaldo knew exactly who was to blame for the goal, reportedly shouting "you should have fouled him" at Marcelo. The Portuguese winger was referring to Sergi Roberto's mazy run leading up to the goal, where the Spaniard sprinted past the full back on the half way line.
Marcelo opted not to bring Roberto down, which he later admitted he should have done, and took full blame for the goal.
The Brazilian left-back has been in brilliant form this season for Real Madrid, and registered a stunning assist for Ronaldo against Bayern Munich, sprinting through the heart of the Bavarian back line.
Ronaldo has still only won La Liga once in his time at Real Madrid, under Jose Mourinho in 2012. The Portuguese will be desperate to improve on that tally with Los Blancos, and having led the charge for much of the season, it would be disastrous if Zidane's men failed to win it this time around.
